Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Friday posted an emotional message on X praising Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s political journey and public service.In the post, Shivakumar described Siddaramaiah’s rise “from a humble village in Mysuru to leading Karnataka as Chief Minister” as a story of resilience, perseverance and commitment to social justice.“As he steps down from the office of the Chief Minister, I express my heartfelt gratitude and deep respect for his years of service and leadership to the people of Karnataka,” Shivakumar wrote on X.— DKShivakumar (@DKShivakumar) The deputy chief minister credited Siddaramaiah for implementing several welfare schemes and developmental initiatives, saying they would remain “significant chapters in Karnataka’s growth story.” He also highlighted Siddaramaiah’s nearly five decades in public life and his contribution to shaping Karnataka’s political and social fabric through “people-centric governance and inclusive leadership.”Shivakumar also acknowledged Siddaramaiah’s support since he was appointed Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president in 2020.Also Read: Siddaramaiah resigns!
