Chemical and Allied Products Plc has unveiled Spruce, a mid-tier paint brand under the Dulux portfolio, as the company moves to deepen its presence in Nigeria’s growing affordable paints segment.
According to a statement, CAP Plc, during the product launch in Lagos attended by architects, interior designers, developers, trade partners, influencers and representatives of housing and building institutions, said the new product was designed to meet rising demand for affordable, durable and accessible paint solutions among value-conscious consumers.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of CAP Plc, Bolarin Okunowo, said the launch reflected changing consumer preferences and the need for quality products at accessible prices.
“Today’s consumers are more intentional about value, but they still desire quality, durability, and beautiful finishes that elevate their spaces.
Spruce was developed to meet that need by offering a solution that combines performance, affordability, and style while remaining backed by the trusted Dulux heritage,” Okunowo said.
