Rakhi Sawant recently opened up on how she was treated in a bizarre manner by 90s superstar Govinda. In an interview with comedian Bharti Singh, Sawant revealed her first impression of Govinda on the sets of the 2000 comedy Joru Ka Gulam where she was performed a song called Khula Hai Mera Pinjara opposite the superstar. She revealed she waited for the actor for hours as he was a fan and then had the shock of her life as he burped on her face. “I reached the set at 6 in the morning and waited for hours because I admired Govinda sir so much. When he finally came, I greeted him with a ‘Namaste’, and he burped right on my face. It was a very strong burp — khana kha ke aaye honge,” she reminisced laughing. However, she refused to take offense to the incident and said that she considered it a “blessing.” The actress also revealed she was not provided any outfit for the song and had to bring her own dress. In another chat with Hauterrfly, the actress opened up on facing marital abuse. Although she did not take any names, she said that despite being very devoted to him and introducing him to Bollywood celebs, he turned out to be a cheater. "Kabhi kabhi mujhe lagta hai ki yeh aadmi insaan hi nahi hai. Main uske liye naashta banati thi, dopahar ka khana banati thi, raat ka khana banati thi. Uske kapde press karwati thi, ghar ke sab kaam karwati thi. Maine uska Salman bhai se mulaqat karwaya, Bollywood se introduce karwaya, uske liye videos banaye, sab kuch kiya. Or woh itna bada dhokebaz nikaala,” she revealed. (I cooked for him on a regular basis, got his clothes ironed, and, in fact, introduced him to Salman Khan and people in Bollywood, made videos with him… he turned out to be a cheater)Rakhi has been married twice, and both relationships eventually ended in divorce.
