Nura Miko, the newly appointed acting controller of the Nigeria Customs Service’s Ports Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML) Command, has formally assumed office, pledging to prioritise integrity, due process and trade facilitation.

Miko took over from Joseph Anani, who said the command generated up to N181 billion in revenue during his eight months tenure.

At the handover ceremony, Miko promised that his leadership would be anchored on collaboration, transparency and compliance.

“I want you to know this. I am here to work with you, not merely to lead you,” he said.

“Under my watch, integrity will be non-negotiable, trade facilitation will remain our priority, due process will be strictly respected, and teamwork will be our greatest strength.”
