The Osun State Government has said governance will continue to be placed on the front burner without distraction under the Governor Ademola Adeleke administration, urging the populace to continue supporting it.
This was disclosed by the State Commissioner for Commerce, Bunmi Jenyo, in Osogbo, the state capital, on Thursday, during the take-off of the return journey to Lagos of the free festive train services provided by the state government for holidaymakers who came to Osun to celebrate the Eid al-Kabir festival.
Jenyo, who described the Eid free train services as “highly successful,” also said passengers travelling to Ogun, Oyo and beyond Osun State benefitted from the initiative.
He allayed fears that governance may take a back seat as the August 15 governorship poll draws nearer, adding that the Adeleke administration would continue to pursue all ongoing developmental initiatives with due attention.
