"Russia is among the leading investors in Kazakhstan’s economy. Total Russian capital investment is approaching $30 bln," he said.
More than 23,000 business structures with Russian participation operate in Kazakhstan, and 70 major joint projects are being implemented in various sectors of the Kazakh economy, Putin noted.
