Ukraine is to receive a tranche of nearly €2.8bn after the Council of the European Union approved the seventh regular disbursement under the EU Ukraine Facility support mechanism.

Details: The Council of the European Union specified that this sum reflects Ukraine's successful completion of 11 of the 20 steps required to receive the seventh tranche.
It also reflects Ukraine's completion of a number of previously outstanding steps, including one required for the fifth tranche and two required for the sixth tranche.
