A mining entrepreneur who won South Africa’s R100m Lotto jackpot says his first purchase will be takeaway burgers for family.
One person has come to claim their staggering R100 Lotto jackpot prize.
Ithuba, the National Lottery operator said the person won the prize from the May 6, 2026 draw, making it the biggest Lotto payout for this year.
The winning ticket was purchased via Quick Pick at Checkers Hyper Sandton City.
According to Ithuba, the winner, an entrepreneur in the mining sector, shared that he has been faithfully playing National Lottery games for the past two years.
