West London Premier League outfit Fulham have reportedly decided against activating the €24 million option to sign Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze permanently from AC Milan following his season-long loan spell at Craven Cottage.

According to Italian outlet Tuttomercato, the Super Eagles winger is now expected to return to San Siro this summer after Fulham opted not to proceed with a permanent transfer.

Chukwueze joined Fulham on loan from AC Milan last summer in a move aimed at reviving his career after a difficult spell in Serie A.

The 27-year-old contributed three goals and four assists during the campaign, showing flashes of his attacking quality and pace in Marco Silva’s side.
