During the Kremlin's leader Vladimir Putin's visit to Kazakhstan, his motorcade included what appeared to be a vehicle fitted with an electronic warfare system and an armoured vehicle with a gunner position on the roof. The Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT), an independent investigative organisation that uses open-source intelligence, reported that there was no machine gun on the vehicle.

Details: The vehicle was most likely an Alan armoured car with a gunner position on the roof.
A CIT representative agreed that the vehicle resembles "a standard armoured car with a semi-enclosed machine-gun turret from which the machine gun had been removed".
