May 28 (UPI) -- Writer-producer David E. Kelley is adapting Michael Connelly's novel, Nightshade, as an HBO Max series.
No casting has been announced yet for the show, which will be called Welcome to Catalina.
Deadline.com said the first season is expected to include 15 episodes and will follow former Los Angeles County Sheriff's detective as he is transferred to low-crime Catalina Island.
Connelly posted a screenshot of the report on his Instagram page.
