Three-year-old girl and her mother in critical condition after Russian attack on playground in Kherson

The younger of two girls injured alongside their family in a Russian strike on a playground in Kherson sustained multiple wounds all over her body. The girls' mother remains in an extremely serious condition and the older sister has undergone an operation.

Details: After the attack, the three-year-old girl was taken to the city of Mykolaiv with a severe blast injury and multiple wounds all over her body. Doctors operated on her there to remove shrapnel from her head.

Doctors are now trying to stabilise her condition so that she can be transferred to the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv.
