Hana Financial Group will launch a 3 trillion won ($1.9 billion) inclusive finance program to provide financial support to economically marginalized debtors and small business owners, the finance company announced Thursday.
The support program is expected to focus on three pillars: resolving financial polarization; improving financial resilience and independence for economically vulnerable populations; and building infrastructure to make financial services more accessible to customers.

About 2 trillion won will be injected into the low-interest loan program for borrowers with low and middle credit ratings. Those with credit scores in the bottom 50 percent will be able to borrow up to 10 million won at a fixed annual interest rate of 5.5 percent.
