The Federal Capital Territory Administration has dismissed reports claiming that a court order stopped sittings on environmental services and food safety enforcement in the territory.

The FCTA Public Health Department issued the statement on Thursday through its Legal Officer at the Health and Human Services Secretariat, Idris Suleiman.

The department described the circulating court order as “false in its entirety and completely misinterpreted”.

It explained that the order was granted by Justice Yusuf Halilu of the FCT High Court in Motion No. M/7935/2026.

According to the department, the suit filed by H-Medix Pharmacy Limited against the FCTA Health and Human Services Secretariat and six others only restrained further sittings in matters involving the applicant.
