15 STUDENTS FEARED dead and others injured following a fire outbreak at Utumishi Girls Academy in Gilgil; Nakuru County, Gilgil Subcounty Police Commander Winston Mwakio says number of the victims yet to be confirmed.
The police report from Gilgil Police station under the the OB 06/28/05/2026 states that the estimated number of fatalities is about 15, with an unknown number of injured victims rushed to various medical facilities with different degrees of injury and admitted in a stable condition.
The school has been cordoned off.
