ABUJA — Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has emerged as the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, for the 2027 election, vowing to lead what he described as a national recovery mission while launching a scathing attack on the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Speaking after his victory at the party’s presidential primary held at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, on Wednesday night, Atiku accused the APC-led Federal Government of deepening hardship, insecurity and political repression across the country.
