Blackpearl Group more than doubled annual recurring revenue in the 2026 financial year but posted a wider underlying loss as it invested heavily in growth and integrated a recent acquisition.

The Wellington-based AI data company reported an underlying loss of $15.7 million, compared with $8.2m a year earlier, while net losses widened to $17.8m.

Subscription revenue rose 77 percent to $13.7m and annual recurring revenue climbed 114 percent to $26.8m, reflecting rapid customer growth and scaling of its data platform.
