Tottenham Hotspur are close to completing the signing of Andy Robertson following his departure from Liverpool FC.
The 32-year-old left-back played his final game for Liverpool against Brentford FC on Sunday after confirming he would leave the club when his contract expires this summer.
As reported by BBC Sport on Wednesday, details of the move to Tottenham are still being finalised, but both parties have reportedly reached an agreement in principle ahead of the new Premier League season.
Spurs had previously attempted to sign Robertson during the January transfer window when the club was under former manager Thomas Frank. A deal between Tottenham and Liverpool was close before the Reds pulled out after failing to recall Kostas Tsimikas from his loan spell at AS Roma.
