RBNZ governor Anna Breman said the OCR will go up a neutral level.

The governor of the Reserve Bank is expecting the official cash rate to go up to 3 or 3.25 percent in the future.

It has held the official cash rate unchanged at 2.25 percent, but only after the governor used her casting vote to break a deadlock.

The bank's monetary committee was split three-three between staying unchanged and raising to 2.5 percent.
