Labour in-fighting continued today as the government responded to a broadside from their former leader Tony Blair, who accused them of having ‘no coherent plan’ for the country.
His criticisms, contained in a long essay, were rebutted by not only ministers, but also potential Labour leadership challenger, Andy Burnham.
The Greater Manchester Mayor said the former PM didn’t understand what’s going on in people’s lives now because his essay didn’t ‘mention inequality once’.
