The Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, and his predecessor, Yahaya Bello, have called for prayers as well as cooperation with President Bola Tinubu for the Renewed Hope Agenda to succeed.
In separate interviews with newsmen shortly after the Eid-el-Kabir prayers at Okene Central praying ground, in Kogi State, the two leaders called for prayers for Tinubu and other leaders..
The governor said, “Eid-el-Kabir teaches sacrifice, love, peace and care, I urge my people, the good people of Kogi State to support the needy, pray for our nation. Let us pray for Mr President and all our leaders for wisdom and divine guidance.
“Security is a continuous task and I want to assure you that we will not relent I commend Mr President, security agencies and the good people of Kogi State for their support and credible intelligence that they are providing at all times and by the special grace of God we continue to work together to keep Kogi safe and secure.”
