A Jordanian fraud suspect has been arrested after he allegedly stole Johnny Depp's bank card and splashed out on items worth £500,000.But the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, 62, was reportedly unaware of the extortionate sum leaking from his account for over two years until his bank flagged the transactions as suspicious.Investigators traced the online transactions arrested a man renting a flat in Budapest, Hungary.Authorities said the suspect, 27, used the stolen credit card details for online purchases and accommodation bookings.Investigators are examining 308 separate transactions worth more than £536,534 (€619,508).Video shows police officers detaining the man before escorting him away in handcuffs.Hungarian investigators said the case began earlier this year when an American financial institution contacted the Hungarian branch of the FBI after discovering illegal withdrawals from an account belonging to one of their clients.Detectives later identified the client as Depp, who failed to notice the hundreds of transactions being carried out between January 2024 and December 2025, according to reports.
