Washington Examiner columnist Guy Benson slammed Democrats for their criticisms of Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D-MA), who called out Graham Platner, a Democratic Senate candidate for Maine.“They are eating him alive on the Left,” Benson said on Fox Business’s The Bottom Line on Tuesday.CNN on Monday interviewed Auchincloss, who said he found Platner’s tattoo “personally disqualifying.”
“As I said months ago, I find Platner’s Nazi tattoo and his commentary about it personally disqualifying. If it were me I’d vote for someone else in the Maine Democratic primary,” Auchincloss said Tuesday on X.

In October, Platner came under fire after a photo circulated of him with a tattoo of a Nazi symbol.
In an interview with Tommy Vietor of Pod Save America that month, Platner said, “I am not a secret Nazi.”
