Following our report last month, Google is beginning to roll out its gradient icon redesign for Workspace apps.
Update 5/27: On Tuesday, Google rolled out all the updated icons on iOS: Gmail, Calendar, Tasks, Keep, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Chat, and Voice.
Android users are still missing wide availability of Google Meet, Chat, Voice, and Gmail.
Update 5/22: As of Friday, Android users should be widely seeing the new icons for Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Updates for other Workspace apps are still in the process of rolling out. There’s wider availability on iOS, while it’s fully rolled out on the web.
Original 5/18: The first appearance of this major visual revamp is in the web app launcher available in the vast majority of Google websites in the top-right corner and Chrome’s New Tab page.
