A 26-year-old constable with the Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) 8th Battalion in Shivamogga died of a suspected heart attack on Tuesday, just 18 days after his wedding.Eranna Gudadar, a native of Belagavi, collapsed at his quarters in Machenahalli during his lunch break on Tuesday afternoon and was rushed to hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. He is survived by his wife, parents, and a sister.Gudadar had married on May 8 and had returned to duty only a couple of days ago, leaving his wife at her parents’ home. He had been serving with the KSRP for seven years.KSRP Inspector Rahman Baig confirmed the incident, saying Gudadar had gone to his quarters for lunch when he suddenly collapsed.
