The Ministry of Defense, together with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is launching the “Logistical Lockdown” program and scaling up “middle strike” operations against the Russian army’s rear.

According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Facebook.

“We are launching a separate ‘Logistical Lockdown’ program to scale up middle strikes and systematically destroy Russian capabilities in the operational depth. Our task is to further intensify pressure on the Russians in the rear and deprive them of the ability to conduct active assault operations,” Fedorov stated.

According to him, Ukraine has recently been gradually regaining the initiative on the front lines. The cost of advancing for the Russians is constantly rising. While in October the enemy lost 67 soldiers per square kilometer of advance, in April that number had risen to 179.
