He said he isolated himself for years, cutting off communication with friends and even family.According to him, he stayed inside his house for nearly seven years. During this period, he avoided social interaction completely and lived in a state of fear and confusion caused by bipolar disorder. He also shared that at his lowest point, he began experiencing thoughts that felt very real to him but were not grounded in reality.He described how the illness created a mental loop of fear and suspicion, making everyday life difficult to manage.Health decline and turning pointHoney Singh said that by 2018–19, his condition had worsened significantly. He admitted that there was a period when he genuinely believed he was “already dead” due to the intensity of his mental state.However, he also spoke about a turning point in his recovery when he changed his treatment plan. After switching medication and adjusting his medical care, he noticed improvements within a few weeks. He said he started meeting people again and slowly returning to normal life after years of isolation.Physical side effects of long-term medicationAlong with mental health struggles, Honey Singh highlighted the physical impact of his treatment. He revealed that prolonged medication over several years led to major weight gain, reaching around 105 kilograms, and also caused complete hair loss.He clarified that what fans now see is not his natural hair. “This is fake hair, I am totally bald. This is a wig,” he said, addressing the speculation around his appearance.The rapper also reflected on how long recovery took, even after he stopped substance use in 2014.
