Nineteen-year-old Milo J became the youngest artist to win the most important prize for music recordings in Argentina, the Gardel de Oro, on Tuesday night.
The artist was awarded for his album La vida era más corta, released last September with rave reviews and sales.
He also was the big winner of the night, taking home awards for a grand total of 12 categories.
The award is named after tango legend Carlos Gardel and is voted on by members of the music industry, musicians, and music critics. Premios Gardel a la Música — commonly known as Premios Gardel — are presented by music recording chamber CAPIF to recognize the best of Argentine music of each year in a diversity of genres and categories.
