Investigators found that a 15-year-old boy, reportedly the victim’s friend, was with him shortly before he went missing.Police questioned the teenager as part of the investigation and, late on Tuesday night, recovered the body from bushes located opposite the railway workshop area.The body was later identified, and police suspect it was badly mauled by stray animals.Police said a blood-stained stone was recovered from the crime scene, and investigators suspect the child was attacked with stones before the body was dumped in the bushes.During the preliminary investigation, police also found that there had reportedly been an argument between the victim and the teenager over a financial dispute involving nearly ₹100. However, police said all angles are being investigated and further inquiry is underway.
