The Kraken V4 X is a solid mid-range wired headset on its own. It delivers clear audio, perhaps as clear as you can get from a $60 headset. Razer implemented its TriForce 40mm drivers here, which split the driver into three parts to handle highs, mids, and bass separately. This prevents frequencies from muddying each other, and it's a design Razer has used across its headset lineup for a few years now.
There's also the retractable microphone, which picks up voice while cutting background noise. It connects via a Type-C and Type-A cable (adapter included), so it works across PC, console, and mobile. And finally, hybrid memory foam earpads should make wearing this headset comfortable during long gaming sessions.
