Penders, 20, is one of the most highly-rated young goalkeepers in Europe and is expected to be given a chance to compete with Sanchez for the No 1 goalkeeper spot under incoming manager Xabi Alonso.Jorgensen was also recruited to provide competition for Sanchez. He has made 34 appearances across all competitions in his two seasons at Chelsea, but more of those have come in the UEFA Conference League (12) than the Premier League (11).Former head coach Liam Rosenior handed Jorgensen a surprise start for Chelsea ahead of Sanchez against Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, but the 24-year-old’s loose pass to Bradley Barcola resulted in a goal at Parc des Princes.
