Molly-Mae Hague has spoken out about the backlash she faced after attending the wedding of Venezuela Fury and Noah Price earlier this month, while heavily pregnantDaniel Bird Assistant Celebrity and Entertainment Editor10:22, 27 May 2026Molly-Mae Hague has said she was "severely humbled" after Venezuela Fury's wedding. For the big day, approximately 120 guests gathered for the ceremony at the Victorian Royal Chapel of St John's, before making their way to a reception at the neighbouring Comis Hotel near Douglas, on the Isle of Man.The Love Island star, who is around eight months pregnant with her second child to Tommy Fury, attended the nuptials with her sister, Zoe, as Venezuela's uncle, Tommy, was busy with training camp ahead of his fight with Eddie Hall. But the 27-year-old has now admitted she "didn't think what she was going to look like," as she had doubts about whether she would be able to attend because she was close to her due date. Molly, her daughter Bambi, and sister Zoe jetted into the Isle of Man on a private jet from Manchester before returning home just hours later. However, while her attendance was touch-and-go, she said it was important to attend the wedding to support her future in-laws, with Bambi also serving as a bridesmaid for her older cousin. And although Molly looked radiant as she stepped out, she wasn't aware that it was frowned upon to wear black to a wedding.Speaking in her latest YouTube vlog, she said: "Since when was it not acceptable to wear black to a wedding because I never thought that, I didn't know you couldn't wear black to a wedding. It's more of a, I don't want to say a funeral colour..."She went on to say: "We had Venezuela's wedding, it was touch and go whether we'd be able to go. I got severely humbled in the comments, which to be fair I don't know why I didn't expect. If I do go, if we get to go and I haven't given birth. Baby seems pretty cosy! But I didn't care what I looked like, Bambi had been asked to be a bridesmaid and I really wanted to honour that and obviously be there for the family and just show up."Molly says she considered her outfit and hair ahead of the celebratory day, explaining: "Obviously if you can, that's what you're going to do. I actually did put a bit of thought into it. I did get that jumpsuit tailored and everything. But the hair... I had my hair done in the morning, I had this really gorgeous bun. But I ended up taking it out and slicking my own bun back in."But while she was widely praised for attending and still looking glamorous despite being heavily pregnant, she was surprised by the reaction from some comments. She explained: "I had a bit of a spiral this morning. I don't know why I didn't think about the pictures and videos coming out. Because in my head, I was just thinking about the wedding and it's their day, it's about them."Despite her hesitation about attending the wedding, Molly explained that she made the right decision and that her daughter lived her "dream," wearing a fancy dress and surrounded by her cousins.Article continues belowParis Fury, Venezuela's mother and Tommy's sister-in-law, praised Molly for making the short trip across the Irish Sea for the day. She said: "She is incredible. She is being fully supportive, and she is bringing Bambi over, so that Bambi could be a bridesmaid with the kids."Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Paris added: "But I have got to throw her props. She is making that journey while heavily pregnant and I wouldn't have been able to face that while I was at her term of pregnancy. I'm very glad that they are coming. It means a lot. It's a big journey for anyone to come from home to here."Like this story?
