A deleted Virgin Island scene that never made it to air has now been revealed09:45, 27 May 2026A Virgin Island sequence that was removed from Channel 4 has been revealed by its participants.Earlier this year, the controversial programme returned to television as it documented 12 adult virgins who were taken to a tropical island where they undertook an intimacy course guided by a team of sex and relationship specialists.During their experience, contestants develop their self-assurance through various exercises, with some advancing to complete intimacy with their surrogate partner therapists.Nevertheless, Virgin Island has faced backlash since it initially broadcast in 2025, with numerous viewers condemning scenes they described as excessively "disgusting" for television. Yet, many have also commended the BAFTA-nominated programme, declaring it was life-changing.Now, as Season 2 has concluded, an edited sequence that was never broadcast on Channel 4 has been disclosed, reports the Daily Star.Posting to Instagram, sex and relationship specialist Dr. Danielle Harel uploaded a video captioned: "VIRGIN ISLAND FUN FACT: We had adult entertainers join us on the island to chat with our virgins to help get a better understanding of what exactly so many are watching and (unfortunately) learning from! You can watch the full scene on Virgin Island's YouTube channel."In the footage, she and fellow specialist Celeste Hirschman introduced the adult entertainers to the group. A voiceover could be heard saying: "The experts want to follow on from this morning's workshop to take porn off its pedestal when it comes to having real relationships."Content cannot be displayed without consentSpeaking directly to the cameras, Dr Harel acknowledged that people "think that porn is reality", adding: "But porn is actually quite far from reality, it's not the best place to learn technique."Within the deleted scene, two performers from the adult industry were presented to the cast, who were given the opportunity to pose any pressing questions they had.Celeste also shared a further deleted scene on Instagram featuring the question and answer session, in which she could be seen quizzing the guests about the "biggest myths were in porn."Calita Fire responded: "We're just people, some of us like sex, some of us like sex less. We're not having sex 24 hours a day, we have personal lives, we have personalities we have families."Numerous fans were taken aback upon discovering the deleted scene, with one viewer commenting on the Virgin Island Instagram page: "There's sooo much good stuff that didn't make it.
