The company also strengthened its aerospace order book and expanded manufacturing partnerships globally.Listen to this article in summarized formatETMarkets.comAequs posted strong FY26 revenue growth led by aerospace demand and consumer business expansion, though rising operational costs widened annual losses.Karnataka-based contract manufacturer Aequs on Monday reported a 33% year-on-year (YoY) rise in consolidated revenue from operations for FY26 at Rs 1,230 crore, driven by strong growth in its aerospace business and scale-up of its consumer segment.The company also reported a net loss of Rs 113.3 crore for FY26, compared with a loss of Rs 102.4 crore in the previous year.For the March quarter, revenue from operations rose 47% YoY to Rs 367 crore, aided by growth in aerospace business. For the quarter the company reported a net loss of Rs 54.1 crore.“FY26 has been a landmark year for Aequs defined by strong execution, meaningful business expansion, and our IPO,” said Aravind Melligeri, executive chairman and chief executive officer, Aequs. He added that Aequs quality standards and delivery reliability continue to underpin long-term OEM relationships. The Belagavi based company went public in December 2025 and raised Rs 921.81 crore, listing at a premium of 13% over the issue price of Rs 124. In its filings the company said profits were impacted in the quarter as its consumer electronics business began commercial operations, leading to higher operating costs even as capacity utilisation remained low.For Aequs its aerospace business continued to remain its largest growth driver, with segment revenue rising 27% YoY to Rs 1,046.4 crore in FY26. Its aerospace order book stood at $889 million, while the company added 433 new aerospace parts during the March quarter, taking its total portfolio to 5,654 Stock Keeping Unit (SKUs).The company is a Tier-1 supplier to leading global aerospace OEMs and system integrators, including Airbus, Boeing, Safran and Collins Aerospace. For its consumer business Aequs works with toy giants such as Hasbro and Spin Master. It also has active partnerships with cookware and houseware brands such Brazilian company Tramontina and Wonderchef.The consumer business grew 84% YoY during the year as the company ramped up manufacturing programmes across electronics, plastics and durables. Consumer segment contribution increased to 17% of revenues in the fourth quarter, Aequs said in a statement. During the year, the company signed investment memorandums with the governments of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka worth Rs 1900 crore and Rs 2856 crore respectively to expand its aerospace and consumer manufacturing operations. On Tuesday Aequs shares were trading at Rs 212 on BSE, 2.13% lower than the previous session.
