Destruction and damage have been reported in Chernihiv and neighboring communities following a nighttime attack by Russian drones.
According to Ukrinform, Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
He stated, “Last night, the enemy launched a massive drone strike on Chernihiv and neighboring communities. There were many explosions. Hits were recorded at various locations. There is destruction. The targets were summer homes in the Novyi Bilous and Kulykivka communities. Also targeted were a woodworking plant, a logistics company, and critical infrastructure in Chernihiv. A warehouse, special equipment, passenger cars, and a truck were damaged."
As the head of the Regional State Administration noted, on the afternoon of May 26, the Russians attacked the “Geran” UAV in Snovsk. One of the strikes hit a cemetery—two people were injured. Transportation infrastructure was also targeted.
