A court dismissed an injunction request filed by employees in the non-semiconductor unit of Samsung Electronics seeking to halt collective bargaining rights by the Samsung Group United Union (SGUU), the company's largest union, on Tuesday.

The request was filed on May 15 after five members of the labor union representing the Device eXperience (DX) division claimed they were sidelined from SGUU's bargaining process with management. The dismissal allows the tentative wage deal, agreed upon by the management and union on May 20, to retain procedural legitimacy.
