A collapsed overpass in western Seoul's Seosomun, which has left at least three dead and three injured, is posing a major disruption for train operations, namely service between Susaek and Seoul stations. Roads near the accident site were also closed, raising concerns over commuter delays during the evening rush hour.

According to Korea Railroad (Korail), part of the elevated structure being dismantled at the Seosomun overpass demolition site suspended train operations on some sections of track after the overpass collapsed at around 2:33 p.m. on Tuesday.
