ROSTOV-ON-DON, May 27. /TASS/. Two people were injured in an aerial attack on southern Russia’s Rostov Region, Rostov Mayor Svetlana Kambulova said.

"This morning, a missile was destroyed as an aerial attack on the Rostov Region was repelled. Unfortunately, two people were injured in the attack. They have been taken to hospital," the official wrote on her channel on Max.

Earlier, Rostov Region Governor Yury Slyusar said that a missile had been destroyed in Taganrog as an aerial attack was repelled there. Cars caught fire because of falling debris.

According to Slyusar, two women were injured, with one of them being in grave condition.
