Fox News correspondent Alexis McAdams had a heated encounter on Tuesday with an ICE protester who made it clear she was not a fan at all.McAdams was covering a protest outside a New Jersey ICE facility when she described the occasionally inhospitable conversations she finds at similar events. She then pointed to a woman in a baseball hat and red shirt standing nearby, and noted, “So the other situation is, there’s people like this. You are a protester who’s been out here and you have a dirty mouth.”It was hard at first to hear what McAdam’s unnamed critic was saying to her with that “dirty mouth,” but it soon became clear the woman was repeatedly calling McAdams a “Nazi bitch.”McAdams tried to turn the exchange into a teachable moment for viewers at home.“So that’s just what we deal with. So just for people that want to know what it’s like to cover these protests, it’s constant with this. This is what these people do,” before claiming that the protesters “want people who are in this country illegally to be released out onto the streets,” and “DHS says that’s what they’re gonna not be doing.”You can see the incident below, but you might need to turn up the volume to hear the protester.Though McAdams might have sought some sympathy, she would not find it on social media.Good journalists are not supposed to make the story about themselves. She lost control of that report when she made that comment to the protester.— Claire🤍 (@SaintLaurant) May 26, 2026The journalist is Alexis McAdams. She was the person who incorrectly called a car accident near Niagara Falls a terrorist attack while reporting about it from New York City. I produced an entire podcast about it. No one is perfect but that was a huge mistake. https://t.co/XgK6XpcqID— Decoding Fox News (@DecodingFoxNews) May 26, 2026One person did notice something in the segment that was intriguing: McAdams never denied the protester’s allegation.
