Initial testing on the knee was not that optimistic about George’s outlook, but the organization is still awaiting the official results, a source said. It could be a devastating blow for a prospect who made massive strides with his contact rate this season and had accelerated his own major-league timeline in the process.George came around to score on a Josue De Paula single in the second inning of a 14-8 Tulsa victory on Monday when the bat dog came by him to retrieve De Paula’s bat, forcing George to jump out of the way and causing him to land awkwardly on his left leg. Footage of the game then showed George hobbling back to the dugout, slamming his helmet in frustration.
