A total of 29 teams have already secured automatic qualification for the competition’s expanded 36-team league phase, avoiding the difficult summer qualifying rounds.

The highly anticipated tournament will feature more than 80 clubs from UEFA’s 55 member associations competing through different qualification pathways based on domestic league positions and UEFA coefficient rankings.
The 2026/27 Champions League campaign will begin with preliminary qualifying fixtures in June 2026 before culminating in the final at Metropolitano Stadium, home of Atlético Madrid, on June 5, 2027.adsads
