MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. The Russian Ministry of Transport and the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsiya, received the statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense on introduction of a special regime for flights of civilian aircraft at heights from 0 to 5,100 meters within the Moscow air zone.
This regime does not affect passenger and some other flights, Rosaviatsiya said. "The Ministry of Transport and Rosaviatsiya received the statement from the Russian Defense Ministry, stipulating the special regime for civilian aircraft flights at heights from 0 to 5,100 meters within the Moscow air zone (Central European part of Russia)," the air regulator said.
According to proposals in the document, restrictions will not cover scheduled and charter passenger flights to and from airports, medical aid and evacuation flights, aviation chemical work, pipeline and power transmission line monitoring and aviation work under government contracts.
