Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, regional leader for the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Plateau State, has alleged that terrorists responsible for repeated killings in communities across Plateau State have regrouped and relocated to different parts of the region, waiting for another opportunity to launch fresh attacks.

Speaking amid renewed concerns over insecurity in Plateau communities, Dachomo described the violence as “genocide” against Christians in Nigeria and recounted a gruesome incident in which a couple was allegedly killed while trying to protect their child during an attack.

According to him, the newborn was later found alive inside the house after residents returned the following morning.

“The government does not want America to send its soldiers to Plateau State,” Dachomo said. “But the challenge is a tactical scheme extending toward the North-East, while some of them have relocated, waiting for the right time to strike again.”
