Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has been declared the winner of the Edo State African Democratic Congress presidential primary.
Chairman, Electoral Committee, Returning Officer of the party, Mabel Adinkwu, disclosed this in Benin on Tuesday while reeling out the results of the presidential primary conducted in the state.
She said that the party in the state had a total of 32,263 registered voters
Adinkwu said Abubakar scored 17,729 votes as against his closest rival, Rotimi Ameachi, former governor of Rivers State, who polled 10,116.
