Marco Rubio accuses Hezbollah of seeking to plunge Lebanon “back into chaos” by rejecting disarmament and opposing direct talks with Israel.
The US Secretary of State says the group continues cross-border attacks and moves fighters and weapons into southern Lebanon, defying government appeals.
Mr Rubio condemns what he calls a “reckless” push to overthrow Lebanon’s elected government, warning threats of violence will not be allowed to succeed.
