MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. The construction of Kazakhstan's first nuclear power plant using Russian technology will be formalized by an agreement to be signed during Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to the republic, aide to the Russian president Yury Ushakov said at the briefing.

"The flagship project in the field of peaceful nuclear energy is the construction of Kazakhstan's first nuclear power plant, with the participation of Rosatom, using the most modern Russian technology," the diplomat said.

"During the visit, important agreements will be concluded on the key parameters of the nuclear power plant's construction and on the financing of the project through a Russian state export loan," Ushakov added.
