ARAFAT: Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi, the imam of the Prophet’s Mosque, delivered the Arafat sermon at Namirah Mosque on Tuesday.

It was attended by Makkah Deputy Gov. Prince Saud bin Mishaal, Grand Mufti Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan, Minister of Islamic Affairs Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Alsheikh, and President of Religious Affairs Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais.

In the sermon, Al-Hudhaifi emphasized that Hajj is a fundamental pillar of Islam rooted in absolute monotheism and submission to Allah, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

He underscored that the pilgrimage serves as a vital platform for mutual acquaintance, harmony, cooperation, and unity among Muslims of all nationalities and backgrounds.

Al-Hudhaifi noted that a proper pilgrimage requires good conduct, truthful speech, and the avoidance of sins, disputes, and partisan or political slogans.
