Alan Halsall and his girlfriend, Ellie Dolan, have called time on their relationship after a year.‌It's said that the now-former couple had realised that neither of them wanted the relationship to go any further. Now, both Alan, 43, and Ellie, 26, have unfollowed one another on social media. Alan has also wiped all traces of Ellie from his online profile.‌Just last year, we revealed that he was "smitten" with mum-of-two, Ellie, who is 17 years his junior, after meeting at the Marriott Worsley Park golf club, where Ellie works, and Alan is a member. They got on really well, and she loved spending time with his daughter," a source told The Sun.They added: "It was supposed to be a bit of fun but turned serious quite quickly and they soon realised it wasn’t what they wanted. They discovered they were opposites and it wasn't going to work."‌Just earlier this year, Alan and Ellie shared a steamy kiss picture on social media, as they looked forward to the year ahead together, ringing in the New Year together at home.But in recent weeks, Alan's social media page has been filled with pictures of his daughter, Sienna, as he focused on family. Last year, Alan and Ellie went public with their relationship on social media, with a picture that also included his daughter.‌A source told us at the time: "Alan is really happy. Ellie is a great girl, and they have lots in common. And she gets on so well with Sienna, which is so important to Alan. Sienna is his world."The pair started dating not long after Alan returned to the UK, having appeared on I'm A Celebrity in December 2025. But before they decided to go public with their romance, the couple kept their relationship relatively private.Alan split from his Corrie co-star, Tisha Merry, 31, in 2024 after five years together. The pair met on the set of the ITV soap. He has a daughter, Sienna, 11, with his ex-wife and former Corrie and Hollyoaks actress Lucy-Jo Hudson, 42. The pair were married from 2009 until 2018.‌Just weeks after sharing the first snap together on Instagram, Alan and Ellie attended the wedding of his co-star, Jack P Shepherd, in Manchester in July last year. But despite Alan's recent heartache, the actor is throwing himself into work. Just last year, he signed a new contract to retain his role on the ITV soap opera, bringing his total to 28 years.The Sun reported at the time: "Alan was thrilled to sign his contract earlier this year.
