ARAFAT: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah conducted field tours of pilgrim camps in Mina, including those for international and domestic pilgrims, as part of direct oversight of Hajj preparations.

Al-Rabiah reviewed the readiness of accommodation facilities and operational services, including catering, cleaning, and maintenance, as well as arrangements for receiving pilgrims and facilitating their movement within the holy sites, ensuring a smooth Hajj experience.

He also met with workers and field supervisors and was briefed on operational plans and coordination between relevant entities, stressing the importance of field readiness, efficiency, and integration across the Hajj system to ensure high-quality services for pilgrims.

Al-Rabiah also attended an operational drill at the sacrificial project in Mina, reviewing readiness procedures to enhance efficiency and preparedness for the season, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

He also visited the Indonesian mission headquarters and met Indonesia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah Mochamad Irfan Yusuf, as well as the Malaysian mission headquarters, where he met Malaysia’s Minister of Religious Affairs Zulkifli bin Hasan.
