Image: Edi Engeler / EPAYle News13:39Big name musicians who first broke through in the 1990s will play a series of concerts in Helsinki over the coming week.The retro revival kicks off on Tuesday evening when US singer, pianist and songwriter Tori Amos performs at the Helsinki Arena as part of the European leg of her In Times of Dragons tour.Amos, whose breakout hit "Silent All These Years" was released in 1991, has sold over 12 million albums and secured multiple Grammy award nominations.Next up is pioneering English electronic band Massive Attack, who play at the same venue on Wednesday night as part of their own European tour.The band, credited with blending hip-hop, dub, soul, and post-punk to create "trip-hop", had their international breakthrough in 1991 with the release of their debut album Blue Lines.On Sunday, Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia takes to the Allas Live outdoor stage, near Helsinki's Market Square, on Sunday evening.The music career of Imbruglia, previously an actress on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, took off with the success of her cover version of song Torn, released in 1997.Natalie Imbruglia will perform at the Allas Live venue.
